Unity C#: Material Fade Out
To use, attach script to mesh gameObject with an assigned material, two input fields will appear within the object's inspector. Add a Standard Fade or Transparent material to the field labeled "Swap To Fade Mat". Compatible with Unity 5.

Unity C#: Material Random Selection
Attach script to mesh with an assigned material. From the inspector, type in the desired number of material slots in the "Size" field, and then the materials themselves in the "Element #" fields. The script assigns a random material instance from the assigned serialisation fields upon scene initialisation. Compatible with Unity 5.

Pymel: Modeller's Quick Bar
A Pymel script intended to ease the workflow of a 3D modeller by providing quick access to many built-in functions that require complex hot key presses as well as several custom functions. To use, open up the Script Editor in Maya, load the script in a Python tab, or open up the python file and copy its contents into the console. Use the double arrow/carrot to execute script.
